Seribu Islands Regency Administration is about to take over management of Reverse Osmosis (RO) or clean water processing machine from Sebira Island, Harapan Island.

The machine given from one of foreign banks is taken over, because often damaged and cannot be fixed by citizens. It is due to lack of cost. 

"We're ready to operate, maintain and allocate if the asset has been handed over to us," disclosed Mustajab, Head of Seribu Islands Water Resources Sub-dept., Monday (1/30).

Based on citizen's information, the machine is often damaged at the dynamo and filter. Since it is granted since 2014, citizens have no fund to conduct maintenance.

"Locals don't have enough money to buy equipment or maintain the machine. So it is handed over to the regency," he closed.
