RPTRA Construction in Central Jakarta Constrained by Land Availability

Central Jakarta Government is planning to add 15 Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA)s in 2017. But, RPTRA which construction using City Budget (APBD) for about Rp 50 billion, is still constrained by land availability.

Public Housing and Residental Area Sub-dept. Head, Edy Suryaman, said that from 15 in total, there are just 4 lands which ready to be built RPTRA. Those are in Pasar Baru, Kenari, East Cempaka Putih, and North Gunung Sahari.
"The land we us are regional government's asset. Central Jakarta is also have a limited asset that could be used as RPTRA," he said, Thursday (2/2).
