1,381 Vehicles Controlled in Central Jakarta

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. team controlled illegally parked vehicles, unroadworthy vehicles, and vehicles without documents. It is proven that along 2017 for about 1,381 vehicles have been controlled because of violation.

Ticket fine is depend on Judge's decision. Grounding fine depends on judges too

They were flattened, towed, grounded, transported, ticketed vehicles and stopped operation. The details are 257 units were ticketed, 288 units were towed, 329 units transported, and 86 vehicles got stopped operating.

DPRD Requests to Discipline Illegal Parking

For flatten case in a month, there are 398 two-wheels vehicle, 7 three-wheeled vehicle, and 16 four-wheeled vehicle were flattened.

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Dept. Head, Harlem Simanjuntak, said the types of violation that should be taken generally are illegal parking, unroadworthy, and incomplete operational documents.

"In Tanah Abang, Kebon Kacang, Thamrin City area, and around Roxy is used as illegal parking place. Even it is depend on the situation, public mini-van usually pick up passengers illegally around station," he said, Thursday (2/2).

Towed vehicle charged for about Rp 500 thousand in accordance to Bylaw (Perda) No. 3/2012 about Regional Retribution. While, the grounded vehicle will be transported to Rawa Buaya, Pulogebang or to Tanah Merdeka. 

"Ticket fine is depend on Judge's decision. Grounding fine depends on judges too," he closed.
