According to him, Transportation Sub-Department could conduct a raid by removing tire valve in the field as deterrent effect. Unluckily, it does not work maximally. "Evidently, illegal parking is still rampant in Roxy and in front of Central Jakarta Resort Police Headquarter," he exclaimed.
Therefore, he has proposed a legal protection for his sub-department in a bid to create effective raid. Its proposal was delivered by Central Jakarta, Saefullah as territory stakeholder.
"We just wait for the Mayor's approval. If it was signed, we would control illegal parking in Roxy and in front of Central Jakarta Resort Police," he asserted.
Head of Supervision and Control Section for Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Harlem Simanjuntak added he has coordinated with private side to provide parking lot for vehicles under Roxy Flyover. "We prepare the parking lot next to the ITC Roxy or precisely at Gg. Subur," he explained.
He explained that parking lot can accommodate about 1,500 motorcycles. By so, there will be no vehicle parked under the Roxy Flyover. "If the visitor wants to park vehicle outside, the vehicle must be parked at the appointed place, instead of under flyover," he asserted.
