A fire razed a house in the Jati Padang Baru Complex, Block B No 8, RT 12/06 Jatipadang, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Saturday (2/18), at around 12.30 PM. In the incident, a building worker got burns on his legs.

I see some workers cooking egg for lunch

Based on information gathered, fire that burns a house belongs to Santoso (53) occurred when some workers were conducting renovation. 

It begins when three workers were cooking egg for lunch. The stove fire then grabbed onto a paint thinner on the floor. And burns the second floor. 

Santoso (53), an owner of the house said fire also wounded a worker, Wawan (35).

"I see some workers cooking egg for lunch. And fire quickly grabbed the floor scrubbed by paint thinner. Then fire occurs," he told, Saturday (2/18).

In the meantime, Syukur Sarwono, Member of South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept. expressed his side sent 12 fire trucks. "And managed to put out the flames about 30 minutes," he uttered.
