BPBD Held Trauma Healing in Cipinang Melayu

Jakarta Regional Disaster Handling (BPBD) held trauma healing for children as victim of flood in Cipinang Melayu, Makasar, East Jakarta, who live in the shelter.

We fill their time in shelter with doing positive things.

Jakarta BPBD Head, Husein Murad, said the activity was held in shelter at Borobudur University's Masjid to reduce the psychological impact on those children.

"We fill their time in shelter by doing positive things. Don't let they feel traumatized or their psychological are," he said, Tuesday (2/21).

In the same place, Jakarta BPBD Economic-Social Recovery Improvement, Rehabilitation and Reconciliation Section Head, Dedy Tarmidji, added the activities were filled with drawing, playing, and storytelling.

"Based on our data, there are 89 children from 900 refugees in total. We will held this activities up to two days ahead," he closed.
