Jakarta Population and Civil Registry Dept. (Dukcapil) proposed 500 thousand E-ID blanks to Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).
Now is still on auction process to Kemendagri
Jakarta Dukcapil Dept. Head, Edison Sianturi, said as long as there are no blanks, his side will issue a reference certificate (suket) for residents who have been recorded but yet have not E-ID card.

City Council Hopes E-ID Blank will Be Added SoonHe added the 500 thousand blanks proposal is not just to print out the data of citizen that not having E-ID card yet, but also for another needs.
"Recording will keep increasing. We proposed around 500 thousand blanks because we need that as a backup if there is a loss," he closed.
