DKI Targets 56 Thousands of Citizen's E-ID Data Recording

Jakarta Acting Governor (Plt) Sumarsono asked citizen who have not recorded their data for E-ID yet to immediately do it. Not only for demography administration, but also for their rights to vote on 2017 City Gubernatorial Election.

"The more important thing is we will catch up around 56 thousands of citizen who have not recorded their data yet. I heard that this March can be finished," he said at City Hall, Wednesday (3/8).

According to him, E-ID print out is cannot be done yet due to blank that is not available. But, after recording, they will be given a reference letter thus they can keep using their rights to vote in the second round of 2017 City Gubernatorial Election.

Suket Issuance will Be Closed Tomorrow Afternoon

"For citizen who have been recorded but doesn't have E-ID card, will get reference letter from Demography Dept. Voting can be done using reference letter," he added.

He affirmed that he will help updating the fixed voter data (DPT) together with City Election Commission (KPU).

"Don't let any of Jakarta citizen to lose their political rights," he closed.
