C. Jakarta Prioritizes Cideng Bus Stop's JPO

Cideng bus stop's pedestrian bridge (JPO) construction on Jl. Suryapranoto, Gambir, becomes one priority program of 2018 is that proposed by Central Jakarta City Government.

I will strive to make this proposal can be included in budget 2018

Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede considered this proposal that was proposed through City level Development Plan Discussion (Musrenbang) is an urgent need. In order to reach the bus stop, citizen must cross over the crowded major road thus very dangerous.

"I will strive to make this proposal can be included in 2018 's budget. It has been unfit for citizen to cross in that road," he said, Friday (3/17).

Unworthy JPOs will Be Eliminated

Rizki (41), Petojo Utara resident who uses Transjakarta service everyday from that bus stop stated pedestrian bridge construction is urgently needed in that location. Moreover, there is a near school whose students must cross over the crowded road everyday.

"Traffic flow is quite fast, thus pedestrian bridge is indispensable. We hope government can build it soon," he stated.

Based on beritajakarta.com's observation in the location, citizen must really careful to cross over or reach the bus stop that located in the middle of the roads. Besides of congested road, there are no traffic lights for pedestrian.
