Monday, Traffic Engineering at Cengkareng Intersection Trialled

West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. is looking to apply traffic-engineering trial at the intersection of Cengkareng, West Jakarta on Monday (5/8). It will be conducted at 6-12 AM.
It will be done for one week
According to Anggiat Banjar Nahor, Head of West Jakarta Transportation Sub-Dept., vehicle coming from Kalideres will be rerouted to Rawa Buaya or Kembangan. Then from Rawa Buaya or Kembangan, vehicle heading to Grogol or Kapuk must turn left and spin to U-turn of Imigrasi Complex.
From Kapuk, those heading to Rawa Buaya or Kembangan must pass the flyover, and can spin to U-turn of Rawa Buaya if they want to go to Kalideres.

He added it would be conducted for one week to know whether it is able to parse congestion from Kalideres-Grogol or not.
"It will be done for one week. Afterwards we will do evaluation, whether it is continued or not," he expressed.
Further, to smoothen it, his sub-dept. would coordinate with Satpol PP and police to manage traffic flow in the field.
"We'll prepare 300 personnel of Satpol PP and police here," he closed.
