Road Users Welcoming Traffic Engineering at Cengkareng Intersection

Trial of traffic flow engineering at Cengkareng intersection, West Jakarta starts to be operated by Transportation Sub-dept, this Monday (5/8). The traffic engineering is welcomed by numbers of road users.

I agree and think this is more effective because we don't need to turn to opposite direction first

Wahyu (32), one of the motorcyclists said, he doesn't know that today, vehicles from Kalideres can go straight to Rawa Buaya or Kembangan way. According to him, this really helps road users who wants to go to Kembangan, Kebon Jeruk, Meruya, and others because they don't need to go to opposite direction first.

"I agree and think this is more effective because we don't need to turn to opposite direction first. If possible, I hope this can continue to be applied," he said, Monday (5/8).

Monday, Traffic Engineering at Cengkareng Intersection Trialled

Meanwhile, West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Anggiat Banjar Nahor said, this traffic engineering still on the trial and need to be analyzed for refinement.

"So it need to be analyzed again, many road users also need to be adapted. Hopefully, tomorrow road users can adapt more," he closed.

Numbers of West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. and police are on alert i n intersection and U-turn to regulate the traffic flow.

For information, West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. conducting traffic engineering trial at Cengkareng intersection, West Jakarta, starting today. This trial is applied from 6 A.M. to 12 P.M.
