In Ramadan towards Eid Fitr, traffic congestion points will usually shift to shopping center area. Vehicle density will change compares to normal days.

South Jakarta Transport Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) Head, Christianto said will deploy sub-district kasatpel (taskforce head) to monitor spot which prone to traffic congestion, especially in shopping center such as Blok M, Pondok Indah, Kemang Village Mall, and Melawai area.

"Shopping centers are usually crowded towards Ramadan. Thus we deploy personnel in sub-district level to help unravel the congestion and controlling the road," he said, Tuesday (5/16).

According to him, with one kasatpel and 20 personnel in every sub-district will accelerate problem handling. Later on, every spot will be guarded by 3-4 personnel.

"Besides, they also asked to report spot which has possibility illegal parking to be appeared. We also cooperate with Satpol PP," he closed.
