Basuki Chooses Brazil for World Cup Champion

The great 2014 World Cup football party begin soon on June 13th. That tournament which held once in four years involves 32 countries that makes many people begin to expect who will be the champion. This time, Vice Governor acting Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama choose Brazil as the champion of this tournament.

 “I choose Brazil,” Basuki said, in Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (6/11).

The former regent of Belitung Timur choose Brazil because it acting as World Cup’s host. He admitted that he idolizing Brazil since long ago in every world cup. Moreover Brazil won the World Cup tournament for five times, in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002.

 

Despite of idolizing Brazil, he admitted that he do not remember the player. Basuki only remember Brazil legend in World Cup, Pele. “I do not remember any of them (football player). I am not too fanatic, I remember Pele. But that was long ago,” said a man who his familiar name Ahok.

 

Besides of Brazil, he ever idolizes France and Argentina. Because, there were his idol on both countries they are Zinedine Zidane and Maradona.

 

However, he would not take Joint watch on this year’s World Cup, or even he will not watch the match. Basuki said that he is sleepy to watch it and more prefer to have slept and he has many works because Jakarta Governor, Joko “Jokowi” Widodo is non-active from his job.

 

“I cannot watch it because I have to wake up in the morning. No Joint Watch, I am too tired. I am too much sleepy when I going home, I only like to watch the goal,” he said.
