Woman Killed After Being Run Over by Truck

A woman (31) died at the scene after being run over by a container truck B 9831 SM on Jalan Yos Sudarso, North Jakarta, precisely in front of PT Prospek Motor, Friday (6/13), at around 10.15 AM. The victim is identified as a citizen of Jalan Lorong 103, RT 08/10, Koja, Koja Sub-District, North Jakarta.

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, the incident happened when she got a ride on motorcycle B 6103 PBJ by his brother, Yudhistisra (19), from Cempaka Putih towards Tanjung Priok. 

Metromini Run Over a Student to Death

When arriving on Jalan Yos Sudarso, precisely in front of PT Prospek Motor, another motorcycle touched the victim's motorcycle and lost control. The victim fell and run over by truck at the scene.

At that time, Yudistira admitted, they just returned from Jatinegara Market and wanted to go home in Koja. "Before the incident, I rode the bike slowly on the edge. Suddenly another motorcycle touched my vehicle. I try to hold back the balance in order not to fall. But my sister instantly bounced off and run over by truck," he expressed.

He stated that he did not get to record the motorcycle's plate number that has been nudged his motorcycle. "I just remember two women on such motorcycle," he told.

At the scene, Aipda Hadi Suprayitno, a policeman of North Jakarta Traffic Unit, stated police have secured the motorcycle and truck drivers. From the information gathered, another motorcycle has hit the victim's motorcycle.

"The victim has been brought to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital for an autopsy. While for the motorcycle and truck drivers are being questioned by police for further investigation," he exclaimed.
