20 Garbage Depots in S. Jakarta will Be Emptied During Eid

20 garbage depots in South Jakarta will be emptied on Saturday (6/24) and Sunday (6/25). That means, there would be no garbage disposal on those days.
"We instruct our executing unit head to empty garbage depots on Saturday and Sunday," expressed Syarifudin, Head of South Jakarta Environment Dept., Thursday (6/22).
C. Jakarta Prepares For Garbage Anticipation During Malam TakbiranAccording to Syarifudin, it is done to conduct the cleaning and repair some depots. Because the garbage volume in South Jakarta would decrease drastically during Eid ul-Fitr, as most people take homecoming.
"Residents who have garbage in the house to be kept temporarily. We send 20 big-sized trucks at garbage collection spots, such in Kebayoran Lama and Pasar Minggu," he expressed.
Afterwards, trucks will dispose garbage to Bantargebang Landfill without having to be collected first at the depot. "Every truck can pick up 23 cubic meters of garbage," he finished.
