270 Joint Personnel Securing Jatinegara Area

270 joint personnel gathered at Jatinegara Sub-district office yard, East Jakarta, Wednesday (6/21). They will be prepared to secure Jatinegara areas from street vendors (PKL)s.

We deploy 270 joint personnel every day to prevent PKL selling on the road

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana said, personnel must secure Jatinegara area tightly because PKLs are usually open stall on the roadside ahead of Eid.

"I asked police to help securing Jatinegara area from PKLs who are selling on the roadside ahead of Eid," he said.

As the command from their superior, he continued, his side will not allow any PKL on the roadside.

"This is done to make traffic runs smoothly, especially for passing by homecomers," he expressed.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Hartono Abdullah informed, those 270 joint personnel are consist of Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-dept., TNI, and Police. They start to guard the location since Wednesday (6/21) until Saturday (6/24) or Eid ul-Fitr Eve.

 

"We deploy 270 joint personnel every day to prevent PKL selling on the road," he closed.

Personnel are standby from 4 P.M. to 10 P.M. from Gunung Antang area to ex-District Military headquarters and Jl. Raya Jatinegara Barat and Jl. Jatinegara Timur.
