Farid (35), one of the residents, the damaged road has potential to be wider since there is water channel flows to Cipinang River.

"If the water flows rapidly from top to bottom, the road could collapse," he said, Saturday (6/14).

According to him, local residents have reported this case to East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Public Works for Water Management. "It's hoped the road construction could be changed," he added.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Head Section of Facility for Sub-dept. of Public Works for Water Management, Supriyatna, stated his side will review the location very soon. "All preparation is ready, tomorrow we will start the repair," he stated.
