Katulampa in Alert III Status

Rain that poured Bogor has made the water level in Katulampa Dam, West Java, increases. The current water level reaches 80 centimeters or in alert III status. This increase has occurred since Monday (6/16) night and had reached 100 centimeters high at 9.25 PM.

According to him, increasing water level in Katulampa Dam has occurred since 8 PM last night, from initially 20 centimeters to 40 centimeters, increased to 50 centimeters at 9 PM, and peaked at 100 centimeters at 9.25 PM. Some urban villages in Jakarta affected by water level increase in Katulampa Dam are Kampung Melayu, Bidaracina, Rawa Jati, Kebon Baru, Kalibata, Pengadegan, and Gang Arus (Cawang).

Meanwhile, water level in other dams are currently in normal position or in alert IV status, such as in Depok 140 centimeters, Manggarai 640 centimeters, Karet 380 centimeters, Krukut Hulu 60 centimeters, Pesanggrahan 80 centimeters, Angke Hulu 100 centimeters, Cipinang Hulu 115 centimeters, Sunter Hulu 50 centimeters, Pulo Gadung 380 centimeters, Waduk Pluit 185 centimeters, and Pasar Ikan 169 centimeters.

For today’s weather, the Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates that all city areas to be cloudy, except South Jakarta that will be poured by rain with light intensity. Today’s temperature is 23-32 Celsius with humidity reaches 72-98 percent.
