MRT Railway Construction is Started

PT. Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta is started to construct MRT railway and other physical constructions in several spots.

Its installment has been started in several spots. Besides Lebak Bulus Depot, there is also Bundaran HI

MRT infrastructure construction is targeted to complete in March 2019.

PT. MRT Jakarta President Director, William P. Sabandar said, his side is starting to install MRT railway in several spots. Such as in Lebak Bulus and Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (HI) MRT Depots.

"Its installment has been started in several spots. Besides Lebak Bulus Depot, there is also Bundaran HI," he said, Sunday (8/6).

He explained, MRT railway installment has been prepared since the beginning of this year. But the physical constructions has just started in July.

"I do not really know for sure the installed railway length. But we keep progressing on that," he added.

He continued , this MRT railway installment is done simultaneously with Overhead Contact System (OCS) pole material shipment to flyover stations.

Recently, MRT Phase 1 (Lebak Bulus-Bundaran HI route) infrastructure construction reaches 76 percent.

"We are targeting construction progress can reach to 93 percent by the end of this year," he closed.
