Seribu Islands Regent, Irmansyah officially opens 2017 Tidung Festival held in Love Bridge, popularly known as Jembatan Cinta, Tidung Island Urban Village, Seribu Islands Sub-district, Saturday (8/19). Various art, culture and culinary activities are presented in the festival.

The festival that held two days is presenting various competitions such as home stay mural, ornamental boat, ornamental bicycle and 56 kinds of Seribu Islands culinary.

"It will be intensified next year," he expressed.

Jakarta Tourism Section Head, Eldi Andi appreciates the festival that aims to introduce and promote the marine charms of Seribu Islands.

"This is because Seribu Islands as the national strategic tourism plan (KSPN)," he stated.

In the festival, there are several officials attend, starting from Expert Staff of Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Hari Untoro Drajat; Assistant to Jakarta Culture Section, Usmayadi; Seribu Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-dept. Head, Fadjar Haridjaja; South Seribu Islands Sub-district, Agus Setiawan and other officials.
