City Signs Cooperation Agreement of YPAC

City Administration has signed a cooperation agreement of Foundation for Educating Disabled Children (YPAC). Cooperation is done to improve the capacity of educators to handle disabled children.

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat disclosed, it is a good step to prepare educators who are able to assist disabled children to find their skills.

He said inclusion figures that are able to perform, as there is a painstaking assistance. Thus their advantages can be explored well and cover up their weaknesses.
Jakarta Education Dept. Head, Sopan Andriyanto explained, such signed cooperation is valid for two years and regulates the provision of training for 75 teachers and 75 parents of disabled students. They will be given socialization and consultation about the needs of disabled children and capacity building of educators.
"All this time, the school has opened itself to them, but it's unoptimal, as educators with special needs skills are still minimal," he closed.
