City-Banten Review Construction of Sea Wall in Tangerang

Later on, the National Capital Integrated Coastal Development's (NCICD) will be pushed to Banten area up to 15 kilometers

City Secretary, Saefullah will review the construction of sea wall to Tangerang District. The 15-kilometer sea wall construction will also involve the central government.

"Later on, the National Capital Integrated Coastal Development's (NCICD) will be pushed to Banten area up to 15 kilometers. So, on top of it, there will be similarities as Baru River, like access road," he stated, Wednesday (8/23). 

Giant Sea Wall Project Divided into Three Phases

According to him, the review is also part of the cooperation of Jakarta, Banten and Tangerang District. Hopefully, the project could anticipate abrasion.

"If the road is made on the seafront, it will be so nice, public area. So if you want to see the sea, you do not have to pay," he expressed. 

To realize it, Jakarta Governor will make a visit along the coast. According to the schedule, the Governor and its group will conduct sweeping along the coast through sea travel. And the results will be coordinated with the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing.

"Start from Ancol towards west, we'll observe first," he closed.
