RPTRA Makes Jakarta as Children-Friendly City

Jakarta Empowerment Child Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) Dept. said that Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) existence in Jakarta is the proof that government can realize children-friendly city.

"It does not mean we are not running any children-friendly city programs. But, actually RPTRA is a part of our implementation of children-friendly city program. It is a place where children can play safely and comfortably," said Dien Emmawati, Head of Jakarta PPAPP Dept. in meeting together with Council's Banggar, Friday (8/25).

Djarot Asks City KPAP to Focus on Prevention

She added, City achievement as general champion of children-friendly city in National Children Day celebration in Riau, this July, is the proof. In similar event, SMAN 3 Jakarta and Petojo Selatan Puskesmas are also awarded as children-friendly school and puskesmas.

"The last, Jakarta is awarded achievement as province that encourage children-friendly cities," she closed.
