Brigif Reservoir Land Acquisition Accelerated

Land acquisition for the construction of Brigif Reservoir in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, is being accelerated by Jakarta Provincial Government. Until now, there are still many land lots which have not been acquired.

City to Accelerate Brigif Reservoir Construction
“Indeed, there are land lots which have not been acquired. We are still waiting for the map release from the National Land Agency (BPN),” stated Head of South Jakarta Land Procurement Committee (P2T), Wahyudi, Friday (6/20).
Based on South Jakarta P2T data, from 103,238 square meters needed for Brigif Reservoir construction, only 107 land lots as wide as 74,279 square meters have been inventoried. From that number, 101 land lots as wide as 68,117 square meters have been acquired since October last year.
“The land lots which have been acquired are being worked on now. The rest is still in negotiation process and waiting for the map from BPN. It’s probably out next week. We will speed up so the work can be continued right away. There are still 45,000 square meters left to be acquired ,” uttered South Jakarta P2T officer, Shita Damayanti.
For information, to acquire the remaining 101 land lots, Jakarta Provincial Government has disbursed budget as much as Rp 64 billion.
