Inflation in September Targeted Not to Hit 0.13 Percent

Jakarta Provincial Government is targeting inflation in September not to hit 0.13 percent or lower than inflation in August 2017.

Assistant for Economic and Finance for City Secretary, Frangky Mangatas Panjaitan said, it will be sought for deflation in Jakarta as much as possible in September.

"We're constantly trying the inflation rate continues to decrease in the capital every month," he expressed, Wednesday (9/13). 

City Inflation Rate in August is 0.13 Percent

To achieve the target, he stated, the city along with Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in the field of food continues to intensify coordination and communication.

"We also did the same method before and will also continue to be applied this year. They (BUMD) always ask to improve all aspects to suppress inflation, "he explained.

He added, another strategy to achieve the target is to increase cooperation with the police in Jakarta.

"To prevent and crack down on the staple hoarding, it will surely become the domain the police domain," he closed.
