9 Stages and Many Artists to Enliven JNF This Evening

Nine stages will be spread along Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout until Monas to enliven Malam Muda Mudi or Jakarta Night Festival (JNF), the main event of Jakarta’s 487th anniversary. On those stages, artists like Sheila on Seven, Wali Band, Mulan Jameela, Nowela Idol, Husain Idol, Firza Idol, Rif, White Shoes, and Peewe Gaskin will perform to entertain the citizens.

The main stage is the one in Monas where city artists will perform

The nine stages will be located in Silang Barat Monas, Sabang Culinary Tourism, on Jalan Sunda (next to Sarinah), next to EX Plaza, in front of Pullman Hotel, in front of Mandarin Hotel, in front of Jaya Building, in front of Bank Indonesia, and at HI Roundabout.

“Each stage will perform different shows, such as rock music, ska, percussion, dangdut, and keroncong tugu. The main stage is the one in Monas where city artists will perform,” stated Chairman of Jakarta’s 487th Anniversary Committee, Bambang Soegiono, Friday (6/20).

Jokowi Praises JNF Management

According to Soegiono, Jakarta Provincial Government is cooperating with city-owned enterprises (BUMD) and a private company to establish those stages. Those BUMDs and company are PD Pasar Jaya, PT Jakarta Propertindo, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, PT Pembangunan Jaya, PT Bank DKI, PD Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, and a lighting company.

The JNF will be started at 7 PM and finished at 1 AM. During its implementation, Jalan MH Thamrin and Jalan Sudirman will be closed. Visitors can park their vehicles in prepared locations, such as in Monas IRTI, Gambir, and parking buildings along Jalan MH Thamrin.
