"Producer from bottled water company will buy plastic bottle waste above market price. While national bank will help communities who joined the waste bank through 'Ayo Menabung dengan Sampah' program," he said, Saturday (9/16).
W. Jakarta Socializes Waste Sorting IntensivelyAccording to him, local communities have already benefited through waste bank. Currently, there are 116 operated waste banks in West Jakarta.
"In the future, waste bank unit will be added in RW and urban village areas," he added.
He explained, his side is also intensively inviting West Jakarta residents to be involved in reducing waste.
"It is enough to bring waste to waste bank unit and we will weigh it. Later on, personnel will note its weight and value in online application. Then the selling income will be transferred to bank account," he added.
Environment and Forestry Ministry Processing Directorate's Goods and Packaging Sub-directorate Head, Ujang Solihin Sidik appreciates West Jakarta Satu Hati BSI processing.
"Environment and Forestry Ministry also supports producers or companies that produce packaging products to be involved in reducing waste. Satu Hati BSI can be a role model for application in other cities," he closed.
