Janitors Enlivened Jakarnaval

Jakarta Cleanliness Department enlivened the 2014 Jakarnaval. Dozens of janitors took part in the parade and danced with cleanliness theme.

In this event, Jakarta Cleanliness Department also held defile of cleanliness facilities. The visitors could see various cleanliness vehicles, such as bicycle carts, motor carts, arm roll trucks, tipper trucks, tank trucks, mobile toilets, and wheel loaders.

“But, even though Cleanliness Department participated in the event, the janitors who did not participate in the parade were still put on standby in a number of locations to clean up the scattered trashes,” told Kusumadewi.

Beforehand, Acting Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama gave appreciation on janitors’ dedication in the 2014 Jakarta Night Festival (JNF) which held on Saturday (6/21) night.

“Once again, we thanked you janitors who are working from night till dawn cleaning up Monas area. It is such an amazing dedication,” uttered Basuki.
