City Committed to Prevent and Act Against Integrated Corruption

Jakarta Provincial Government with City Council, Jakarta High Prosecutor, Jakarta Finance and Development Supervisory Board (BPKP), Polda Metro Jaya, Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) signed the commitment towards prevention and act against integrated corruption.

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat said that actually commitment to cooperate and coordinate for prevention against corruption has been done between City and KPK's Prevention Deputy since three months ago.
"As state officials, we have a commitment to build strong government," he said, Wednesday (10/4).
Council Supports Integrated Prevention and Corruption Prevention ProgramHe explained, until now Provincial Government has done various things to repair its service and budgeting by using electronic system. Thus government budget management could be monitored by citizen and corruption could be minimized.
In budgeting and planning division, he continued, City has applied e-musrenbang, e-budgeting, and e-katalog application. While for service, City has One-stop Integrated Service (PTSP) as permission service central.
"Including cashless system that has been used for financial management.We must ensure fund from citizen is used optimally rather than for corruption," he affirmed.
KPK Deputy Head, Basaria Pandjaitan added, with commitment signing, his side hopes cooperation can
be improved and focus on prevention than act against it.He explained from cooperation with City along 3 months, his side found several shortcomings that need to be improved.
"We will improve it together thus system in Jakarta could be a role model for government in other regions," he closed.
