Council Wants Muara Angke Floating Traders to Be Fostered

Jakarta DPRD Commission B wants the Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. to foster the Muara Angke Floating Restaurant traders in Penjaringan, North Jakarta before being officially operated.

"We ask for coaching and beauty contest of the trader first prior to restaurant operational," expressed Darussalam, Secretary of Jakarta DPRD Commission B, Thursday (10/5).

Muara Angke Floating Restaurant Construction is Started

He assessed the floating restaurant construction that will finish within 11 months is a fairly long time for Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. to foster them. The dept. was also asked to update traders' data in order to find out anyone who will sell at the restaurant later.

Separately, Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. Head, Darjamuni expressed, so far, his dept. has tested 29 traders' data that will be fostered before occupying 30 business locations in the restaurant.

"We prepare 30 stalls for them to burn fish, cook, etc. As for where to eat, it has its own realm," he closed.
