South Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-dept. prepares 80 waste sorting bin sets in 20 Children-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA)s.

This waste sorting bin is facilitates RPTRA visitors to throw garbage orderly

South Jakarta LH Sub-dept. Head, Syarifudin said, it has color codes for waste segregation with green, yellow, and red colors.

"This waste sorting bin is facilitates RPTRA visitors to throw garbage orderly. Thus environment become clean and beautiful," he said, Tuesday (10/10).

20 RPTRAs in E. Jakarta are Ready for Inauguration

He added, number of waste sorting bins are placed based on RPTRA width. For the small one, his side will give three waste sorting bin sets. Though, his side can add more units in each RPTRAs if urban village side is demanded for it.

Based on its function, green colored bin is used for organic waste, such as vegetables. For yellow, it is used for non-organic goods such as plastic waste and its kinds. While red is for glass, shattered glass, detergent, and others.

"This waste sorting bin is also used to educate RPTRA visitors," he closed.
