Vice Governor Wants Jakarta Smart City Role to Be Optimized

He assessed, from the results of working meetings with his staff, Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Dept. can only create 2,000 new job opportunities. The employment figures can be realized because of the work of several other regional working units (SKPD).

"With an integrated program between SKPD, we also hope the target of creating 40,000 jobs per year can be realized," he stated.

He furthered job handling problems and strengthening the quality of Human Resources (HR) in Jakarta should be handled deeply.

"Because competition between states in the future is no longer a matter of natural resources, but human resources. That's why we need to strengthen and improve its quality," he said.
