Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, attended National Work Meeting (Rakernas) of Indonesia City Council Association (ADPSI) at Borobudur Hotel, Central Jakarta.

In his speech, he hopes rakernas could improve performance and relation between legislative and executive thus local and national development program could be accelerated.

"We hope this rakernas result could give enhancement in performance and its  relationship between executive and legislative," he said, Thursday (10/26).

He also hopes rakernas could be benefited to communities welfare and local development.

Indonesia Ministry of Home Affairs General Secretary, Hadi Prabowo also hopes there is a same perception in implementing Government Regulation No. 18/2017 about Performance of All City Councils in Indonesia. 

Besides, he added, this rakernas is scheduled to review revision of PP No. 16/2010 and Permendagri No. 33/2017.

"We hope rakernas could improve council capacity thus could bring democracy value in supporting local residents aspiration," he affirmed.

City Council Chairman, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi explained this event will be held until October 28. There were 26 representatives attended in the event from 34 provinces in Indonesia.

"Hopefully this rakernas could give constructive inputs," he closed.
