C. Jakarta Mayor will Lead Tanah Abang Arrangement

Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede is assigned as Tanah Abang Arrangement Team Leader. Through this arrangement, hopefully there will be no street vendors (PKL)s using sidewalk or roadside to sell.

We will arrange it using long-term and short-term solutions

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno said his side needs innovations and breakthrough among sectors to arrange Tanah Abang area.

"For arrangement team will be led by Mr. Mangara. We will arrange it using long-term and short-term solutions," he said after lead finalization meeting on Tanah Abang arrangement at City Hall, Thursday (11/2).

Arrangement Study Against Tanah Abang PKL Targeted to Finish Friday

Though his side couldn't explain it in detail, but he is sure there will be pro and contra due to short-term solution that will be done.

"We want to start a sustainable arrangement. Of course we will apply Transit Oriented Development (TOD) pattern for the long-term solution," he expressed.

He conveyed that he will report the arrangement solution and innovation that have been agreed in meeting to Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan.

"I will report this to Jakarta Governor on Friday. We will inform tomorrow regarding his agreement," he closed.
