Sodetan Construction on Jalan Warakas 1 Accelerated

Why we make this crossing, because the connecting channel here is not connected with other channel

The 11-meter-long crossing channel (sodetan) construction on Jalan Warakas 1, RW 01, Tanjung Priok Urban Village, North Jakarta keeps being accelerated. It is targeted to be completed by the end of this November.

"Why we make this crossing, because the connecting channel here is not connected with other channels," expressed Santo, Head of North Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept., Monday (11/13).

Ciliwung Sodetan Construction Has Touched 54.7 Percent

According to him, the place was previously often inundated up to 20 centimeters when rain poured. It was because the water in the channel cannot flow to other channels, and empties into Lagoa Tirem River.

"The project is realized through self-managed funds of this year's APBD. We only spend money for fuel of the heavy equipment," he told.

Thus far the project itself has entered u-ditch concrete installation. And then will be continued with road arrangement with hotmix asphalt.
