3 Firemen Injured in Fire Truck Collision

A traffic accident involving two fire trucks with plate numbers B 9158 PHA and B 9380 LQ occurred on KM 21 Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road towards Jembatan Tiga, around 12.45 PM. As a result, 3 firemen injured.

The injured people have been brought to the Atma Jaya Hospital, Pluit

The accident happened when both vehicles wanted to go to the fire location or precisely in Muara Baru area. When passing on KM 21 Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road, one of fire trucks suddenly hit a guardrail and then continued by another fire truck from behind. Even it also caused collision between a sedan Volvo B 1970 KJ and Pajero B 100 APL.

Chief of North Jakarta City Police Traffic Sub-Directorate, AKBP Jazari stated the accident is still being handled by police officers. "The injured people have been brought to the Atma Jaya Hospital, Pluit," he explained, Saturdya (6/28).

Pileup Collision, None Jakarta 2004 Died

When being contacted, Head of Operational Section for North Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Sub-Department, Muchtar Zakaria uttered those injured people are identified as Sasmita, Sunarko, and Edi. 

"Sasmita who is a commander and  Sunarko, a driver, are currently still hospitalized in hospital. While Edi, only suffered minor injuries. At that time, they wanted to go to the fire location," he stated.
