Ragunan Zoo, South Jakarta, has been visited by 178 thousand people during Christmas holiday on December 24-25, 2017. This number surpasses the target which is 150 thousand visitors.

We have an event themed 'Gift for Animals' as symbol of appreciation

Ragunan Zoo Management Unit Head, Dina Himawati said, her side holds 'Christmas Gift for Animals' program to attract more visitors in this holiday event.

"We have an event themed 'Gift for Animals' as symbol of appreciation. On December 25, we gave the animal some foods wrapped in decorative paper to make it attractive," she said, Tuesday (12/26).

She mentioned, 'Gift for Animal' is not only attract visitors, but also educate them not to give harmful foods to the animals in Ragunan Zoo.

She added, there are 87 thousand visitors on December 24 and 91 thousand visitors on December 25.

"Actually we have reached our target since yesterday. But now we still want to serve our visitors optimally," she conveyed.
