DKI Becomes Role Model for Cashless Transaction

Jakarta Provincial Government becomes one and only province that has applied cashless transaction for 100 percent.

By using c ashless system, financial transaction closing can be done on time

Moreover, Jakarta has been declared by Home Affair Ministry as the role model for other regions.

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said Jakarta is the first province to implement cashless system.

"By using cashless system, financial transaction closing can be done on time. On December 31, 2017 budget can be closed at 4 PM," he informed at City Hall, Tuesday (1/2).

Jakarta Financial Management Board (BPKD) Head, Michael Rolandi explained there are 270 regions and government institutions are tried to have comparative study and learn about cashless transaction implementation in DKI.

Cashless transaction has been started since 2015 and it is implemented completely in 2017.

"DKI becomes a role model for other regions that will implement cashless both for revenue and expenditure," he mentioned.

He hopes this could be implemented in 2018 thus each SKPDs can conduct daily administration orderly.

"Thus in closing and reporting to BPK, all requirements are fulfilled," he stated.
