Lavish House Burned, House Owner Injured

A lavish house in Bukit Mas Residence, Blok E-3A, RT 02/15, Bintaro Urban Village, Pesanggrahan Sub-District, South Jakarta, burned on at 9.45 AM, Friday (7/4). Because of this incident, the house owner is injured.

The fire originated from the roof and was already burning the curtains and spreading to paper piles on the floor

“I was sleeping on the second floor when my kid shouted fire. The fire originated from the roof and was already burning the curtains and spreading to paper piles on the floor. I directly carried my kid and tried to go down stairs. Some of the plafonds collapsed and hit my cheek and legs,” said the houseowner, Pramuarta Mulya.

Firemen from South Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Sub-Department arrived 10 minutes in the location after they received the report. Afterwards, they localized the fire to prevent it from spreading to other buildings.

A Luxury House in Green Ville Residence Burned

“The fire was extinguished 30 minutes later after five trucks were deployed. Temporary allegation, the fire was caused by electricity short-circuit because fire originated from the roof,” stated Dwi, one of the firemen.

There is no casualty in this incident, while the house owner who is injured has received medical treatment. The loss is predicted reaching hundreds of million rupiah.
