A three-story luxury house in Green Ville Residence , Jalan Mangga 24 No. 165, RT 06/03, Duri Kepa Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk Sub-District, West Jakarta, destroyed by fire at around 1.30 PM, Monday (4/28).

The fire just suddenly came from my room on the second floor

“The fire just suddenly came from my room on the second floor,” said Wati (20), a maid in the house.

Seeing fire, Wati told that she immediately tried to extinguish it with available tools. Unfortunately, she failed and the fire grew up instead then burned the second floor of the house.

Luckily, the situation can be controlled after 15 fire trucks from West Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Sub-Department deployed to the scene.

“There was no casualty reported in the incident. The fire was allegedly caused by electricity short circuit,” stated Head of Operational Section for West Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Sub-Department, Abdul Wahid.
