PD. Pasar Jaya prepares Cipinang Besar Selatan (Cibesel) Market as relocation site for Gembrong Market's merchants. Relocation is done because Cawang-Kampung Melayu (Becakayu) toll will be constructed in Gembrong Market area.

We have prepared 200 stalls

PD. Pasar Jaya Manager for East Area, Sion Purba informed, currently 40 merchants have registered and they are willing to occupy stalls in Cibesel Market.

"We have prepared 200 stalls," he stated, Monday (1/8).

For the first six months, he continued, PD. Pasar Jaya will reduce relocated merchants' rent fee.

"We will intensify our socialization and promotion to Gembrong Market's merchants since the construction is planned to start this March," he explained.

Meanwhile, Ratih (45), a toy merchant in Gembrong Market, said that she knows about relocation plan from one year ago.

"I am ready to be relocated and hav e registered also. Hopefully, it will be full of buyers as in Gembrong Market," she expressed.
