Channels on Jalan Akordion Kelapa Gading Cleaned

The connecting channel and two crossing channels (sodetan) on Jalan Akordion, Pegangsaan Dua, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta are cleaned. It is aimed to follow up public complaints via a citizen complaint service on Saturday at the sub-district office.

Kelapa Gading Sub-district Water Resources Executing Unit Head, Rukmana said the channel is cleaned up to 150 meters. There is soil sediment to cause water channels to become silted.

Locals complained about the condition of the channels. It is because water cannot flow normally when heavy rain pours.
"In the field, we have sent 15 personnel. It is targeted to be finished this week," he said.
