KJP Plus Registration for Children Outside of School Starts End of January

Jakarta Education Dept. (Disdik) will register school-age children who didn't take formal education as Jakarta Pintar Card (KJP) Plus candidates.
We plan to start it by the end of January and finish in June
Disdik's Personal Funding and Operational Education Service Center (P4OP) Unit Head, Nahdiana said, registration for children with age 6-12 years is targeted to finish in six months.

, those children will be recommended to enter education system, either formal or non-formal."We will recommend them to get formal or non-formal education according to their educational level. If they don't want to go to school, we will offer courses," she conveyed.
KJP Plus 2018 budget reaches Rp 3.97 trillion. Children will get KJP Plus fund according to educational level though they didn't get formal education. While for those who get courses will be given the same as in Teaching and Learning Center (PKBM).
Currently, her side is processing revision on KJP regulation. Because there is no KJP regulation about children outside of school in Pergub No. 174/2015.
"It needs revision because there is a change in participant matter. For now, pergub revision is still in verbal stage," she said.
