Council Appreciates Social Dept. in Managing Social House

Jakarta DPRD's Commission E, appreciating performance of Jakarta Social Dept. in managing social houses in the capital.

We appreciate it. Besides being educated, children here are also given skills

Based on the council's review at Bina Remaja Taruna Social House, Tebet, South Jakarta, Jakarta Social Dept. is deemed to have managed the orphanage professionally and succeeded in providing guidance to the Social Development Community (WBS) through skill training.

Commission E will Hold School Renovation Evaluation Meeting Routinely

"We appreciate it. Besides being educated, children here are also given skills," expressed Ashraf Ali, Vice Chairman of Jakarta DPRD's Commission E, Wednesday (1/24).

Ali uttered the dept. to publicize the activities and achievements that have been gained by WBS, especially children. In the social house, there are 200 children aged elementary to high school provided training tailoring, beauty salon, mobile phone service and computer, programmer to furniture.

In the meantime, Jakarta Social Dept. Head, Masrokhan explained, in the social house, there have been many children who have worked in the country and abroad after undergoing skill training.

"We're trying to produce alumnus who are ready to work and independent," he said.
