N. Jakarta OK OTrip Program Served 12,794 Passengers

OK OTrip users in North Jakarta are keep increasing. Since its operation two weeks ago, OK 5 Simpang Lima Semper-Sungai Tiram route passenger has reached 12.794 people.

After many of them get its benefits, passengers start to increase

North Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Benhard Hutajulu explained, there are around 700 passengers in OK 5 route for the first week. Currently, it keeps increasing in second week with around 1,000 passengers per day.

"First day operation on January 16, it is only 300 passengers. After many of them get its benefits, passengers start to increase," he mentioned, Tuesday (1/30).

He explained, total passengers on OK 5 route from Monday (1/29) reached 12,794 people. Based on data, most passenger used this service in afternoon to evening that could reach 7,233 people.

He hopes, bus shelter and sidewalk along OK OTrip route could be organized by related SKPD. Besides, street lighting also needed thus passengers would feel safe, especially at night.

"For safety, we deploy one personnel in each public vehicles. Total 17 personnel are deployed for OK OTrip program every day," he informed.
