Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan disclosed, State Civil Apparatus (ASN) under serving Jakarta Provincial Government must be good public officials.

To be a good public official, he stated, it requires the competence of the inner and outer, as well as the integrity to run the duty.

"You must be trustworthy and able to establish closeness with all parties," he expressed, when he opened Leadership and Pre-employment Diklat at Technical Dept. Building, Jalan Abdul Muis, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Thursday (2/1).

According to him, to become a developed country requires a learning process to continuously improve the sector that is deemed unoptimal, and improve the parts that support the progress.

"Currently the advanced nation is a nation that wants to learn," he told.

He added changes in mindset are also needed thus we can continue to learn new things and can be adapted to the times.

"Sometimes we are stunned to change, therefore we must anticipate by continuing to learn," he said.
