PT Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta along with Mass Transit Railway (MTR) Hong Kong, signed a cooperation agreement on rail-based mass transportation operation training at Great Hall, Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (2/1).

Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) President Director, William Sahbandar said, for approximately 40 years, Hong Kong has proven successful in operating the MTR in the country.

"Therefore, it's important for us to exchange experiences in operating the rail-based mass transportation in the form of training," he expressed, Thursday (2/1).

He added cooperation in the form of this training is one way to create human resources that can operate a reliable rail-based mass transportation.

"So, we will send some senior managers to undergo the job training in Hong Kong this year," he stated.
