Sandi Discussed Potential Cooperation Between Jakarta-Tokyo

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, visited the Indonesian Embassy in Japan. His arrival was officially welcomed by Indonesian Ambassador to Japan, Arifin Tasrif, Wednesday (2/21).

Sandi disclosed that the meeting discussed on the potential for cooperation that can be done between Tokyo as the capital of Japan and Jakarta as the capital of Indonesia.
"This Embassy is a representation of the Indonesian government in Tokyo, Japan. We hope that there is diplomatic support for the continuation of the MRT project cooperation," he expressed.

"Both have been working through the Sister City," he stated.
According to him, Jakarta would also study to Japan in job creation in the field of services and creative economy.
"For the food field, there is a desire of Jakarta Provincial Government for twining the market between Tokyo and Jakarta as a form of the Indonesia-Japan cooperation's 60th anniversary," he told.
He added that the city should study the disaster management system, especially earthquake and fire that have been done in Japan.
"Japan is deemed a country capable of preventing and handling disasters well," he uttered.
