The levies revenue of Jakarta Provincial Government in fiscal 2013 is only reaching 68 percent. It is caused by several factors, including the implementation of Law No. 28/2009 on Regional Taxes and Levies.

Basuki stated that regional levies revenue in Jakarta is also caused by many people do not renew the burial place service. "Levies on the Use of Regional Resources did not reach the target, because the facility and infrastructure owned by Jakarta government in quality cannot compete with the private sector," he disclosed.

He furthered some tariff changes became smaller to Terminal Services Levies and payable levy on the Telecommunication Tower Management. "Then is the payable levy on Waste/Health Service," he expressed.

According to him, Jakarta government will keep optimizing service in achieving the target. "We would impose payment revenue of Regional Levies with Levy Electronic System (E-Levy) and is balanced with an increase in service to the people," he uttered.

This former regent of East Belitung added his party has tried to file the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) to Finance Minister in 2008.

"Thus far, we received the General Allocation Fund 2013 by Rp 299.18 billion, while we have not received Special Allocation Fund and Specificity Fund," he admitted.
