373 Public Transport Routes in Jakarta will Be Restructured

In the policy, 40 routes of big non-Transjakarta bus will be restructured into 10 routes. While the 93 routes of medium bus are targeted to be restructured thoroughly.
"Then for small bus routes, it is targeted to be restructured from 156 routes into 93 routes," he continued.
Especially for 84 routes of Transjakarta from Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor, between corridor and medium bus will remain on the route.
"Why do we restructure the route, as there should be no stretching routes 100 percent in this program," he explained.
In the near future, his side will notify the restructuring plan of this route to the Organization of Land Transportation (Organda) and public transport operators.
"If they agree, we will issue the legal basis," he said.
